The Payroll Associate is responsible for daily administration and processing US Payroll for Phillips 66 US Payroll. This position ensures accurate payroll processing, delivering high accuracy and completeness through audits and controls.

Responsibilities May Include

  • Resolving ServiceNow Tickets as they relate to Payroll issues through Tier 1 support.

  • Executing various reports to validate each payroll for accuracy and completeness.

  • Working with the Payroll Services organization to reconcile payrolls and resolve issues.

  • Process third party remittance, such as union dues.

  • Compliance with all Federal, State and Local payroll laws, as well as Collective Bargaining Agreements.

  • Processing special pays, including separations.

  • Supporting US payroll audit and control activities.

Position Requirements


  • Legally authorized to work in the job posting country

  • High School Diploma or GED/equivalent

  • 3 or more years of experience in a customer service role

  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in MS Office


  • Previous legal, payroll, or human resources experience

  • Knowledge of SAP

  • Experience working with confidential information

  • Good written and oral communication skills

  • Identifies, promotes and implements best practices in area of responsibility

  • Ability to manage detailed work within constant deadlines and time constraints

  • Ability to work well independently and be part of a team environment
