Description

The Senior Citrix Analyst reports to the Supervisor, Application & Web Services within the Digital End User Experience organization. The Senior Citrix Analyst will be responsible for leading all efforts pertaining to the design, deployment, management, and support of the Global Citrix environments at Phillips 66. This includes Citrix XenApp applications used to run critical 24/7 clinical systems on a variety of computing devices. The Senior Citrix Analyst will design, build, and manage the Global Citrix environment on-prem, in AWS, Azure and Citrix Cloud.

Responsibilities May Include

  • Implementation of Citrix Cloud and operational support of the Global Citrix XenApp 6.5 and 7.X application farms.

  • Perform Citrix application upgrades to AWS infrastructure.

  • Provide global infrastructure support for the P66 Citrix environment on-prem and in the cloud (Azure and AWS).

  • Support Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop, and end-user sessions for both XenApp 6.5 and 7.X.

  • Provide support for cloud-based Citrix 7.X application publishing technologies (Machine Creation Services and Citrix Application Layering).

  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues for ICA sessions.

  • Support Citrix virtual desktops (VDI).

  • Support remote user connectivity via Citrix Workspace (MAC, IOS, Android).

  • Implement group policy objects and maintain operational PowerShell scripts.

  • Achieve target goals on ticket resolution assigned to the Citrix Team

  • Maintain documentation for technical controls and project OCM activities.

Position Requirements

Basic/Required:

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 1 or more years of experience with a broad range of technologies including Windows OS, PC hardware, Microsoft Office applications installation of applications

  • 1 or more years of experience with a wide variety of technologies to support Citrix, including LDAP/Active Directory, VMware, networking, and DNS

  • Ability to work weekends and after hours to provide global service/support

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 3 or more years of experience in managing Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (XenApp and XenDesktop, including storefront) in an enterprise environment

  • 3 or more years of Experience designing, implementing, and supporting Windows/Citrix Profile Management, Windows Server 2008 R2/2012/2016 R2, PowerShell, Active Directory, Application Virtualization, Application remedies and Group Policy

  • Experience managing AWS or Azure Cloud Environments

  • Ability to quickly recognize, isolate, and resolve technical problems with proficiency in hardware, software installation, and troubleshooting skills

  • Knowledge designing, implementing, and supporting Windows/Citrix Profile Management, Windows Server 2008 R2/2012/2016 R2, PowerShell, Active Directory, Application Virtualization, Application remedies and Group Policy

  • Experience supporting systems using the Windows 2010 desktop operating system

  • Experience with OKTA authentication

  • Experience with application automation process such as packaging software into MSI format for deployments in a Citrix environment

  • Experience with Citrix ADC (NetScaler), ADM (MAS), and Provisioning Services

  • Exposure to Citrix SD-WAN and next generation QoS and application based network analytics

  • Familiarity with basic web development

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • A self-starter with a proven ability to work in a collaborative, team environment

  • Experience with the following areas: Active directory, Domain architecture, Sites/Services, TCP/IP, DNS, and Wins
