The Analyst works directly with clients to monitor and manage revenue accounts. Ensure that payments are received in a prompt and timely manner. Develop and maintain relations with external clients.
Responsibilities May Include
Records transactions into the general ledger or other systems. Ensures transactions are recorded, documented, reviewed and supported in accordance with company policies in a timely manner
Responsible for plant allocations, pipeline allocations, system balances, economics, imbalances, accounts receivable aging and account reconciliations
Reviews and analyzes the set-up of various contracts (e.g. percentage of profit, processing, keepwhole, treating)
Develop and maintain a good rapport with producers and other third parties, as well as internal marketers, gas control personnel, contract administration and measurement
Requirement Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Business, Finance or Accounting
Basic understanding of generally accepted accounting principles
Aptitude to effectively learn company specific accounting and operations systems
Basic analytical skills
Customer service oriented with strong written and oral communication skills
Flexibility to work longer hours during peak periods
Good interpersonal, organizational and time-management skills
Preferred Qualifications
4+ years of related accounting experience at a professional level
4+ years of experience working with Microsoft Excel and Word at a professional level
3-6 years previous years’ experience with gas plant revenue accounting
Previous experience with TIPS, PeopleSoft financials and GMS Ultra applications

Compensation
The base pay range for this role is $72,000 – $ 92,000 depending on a candidate's relevant work experience and education.
