Description
Phillips 66 is implementing a multi-year effort to improve the mechanical integrity program across all refining sites. Key aspects are IDMS standardization, systemization, circuitization, Corrosion Control Document (CCD), and Risk-based Inspection (RBI). The Deployment Lead is responsible for implementation of the project at selected refining sites. This position serves as the primary point of contact between the site, the implementation vendor, and the central project team.
Position will be based in Houston, TX or at one of our US Phillips 66 Refinery locations.
Responsibilities May Include
Manage, coordinate, and report status of day-to-day progress and activities of the site deployment teams.
Actively participate in identifying and resolving risks and issues.
Coordinate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure deliverables align with project scope, standards and quality requirements.
Manage and review the project deliverables and sign-off process.
Conduct site visits to oversee and participate in Process Overview, Corrosion Review, and Inspection Planning meetings.
Guide sites through the transition from project work to sustainability.
Work with site teams to capture project benefits such as risk identification and inspection findings.
Assist with developing foundational project documents.
Position Requirements
Basic/Required:
Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or related Science
5 years or more of experience in refinery related; materials, corrosion, inspection, fixed equipment, reliability, or maintenance engineering
This position will require managing multiple site project implementations simultaneously
Travel up to 50%
Preferred:
2 years of experience leading medium to large project execution
2 years of experience with inspection planning and use of PCMS
2 years of experience with corrosion engineering and/or RBI
Working knowledge of risk-based inspection (RBI), inspection data management system-PCMS, and fixed equipment inspection planning and turnaround/maintenance work process
Ability to manage time efficiently with competing priorities in high-pressure situations
Ability to coordinate large contractor teams and manage multiple stakeholders including refinery leadership
