Description

The Director, Digital Operations and Analytics is part of the Midstream Digital Transformation team and is responsible for supporting and facilitating the development and implementation of Midstream Digital Transformation projects. The Midstream Digital Transformation team operates in service to achieving Midstream strategic objectives including operational excellence, human performance improvement, and competitive advantage.

This role will champion digital innovation and provide leadership and strategic direction in the areas of optimization and data strategy. The successful candidate will partner with internal and external partners to identify, prioritize, and lead a portfolio of fast-paced digital transformation initiatives and must demonstrate business acumen and knowledge/experience in digital technologies. Given the focus on strategic, innovative solutions delivering tangible value, the candidate will have exposure to senior leadership and must exemplify strong communication skills and executive presence.

Responsibilities May Include

  • Aligning business goals with digital solution opportunities; establishing business cases and driving the implementation and adoption of solutions to the organization.

  • Delivering business value and producing high-quality results.

  • Tracking and analysis of technology and industry trends to identify new opportunities to deliver business goals and support growth strategies.

  • Building strong working relationships with leaders, business partners, and SMEs across the organization.

  • Cultivating and utilizing a network of stakeholders to minimize implementation time.

  • Managing and overseeing numerous fast-paced projects and initiatives.

  • Identifying, prioritizing, and delivering assurance of functionality and requirements aligned with business and customer needs.

  • Providing strategic leadership and vision.

  • Leading a highly skilled team, providing mentoring, training and development as well as performance reviews.

  • Leading data strategy and vision for the Midstream organization.

  • Improving access to key data and insights across all levels of the organization to enable actionable insights.

  • Understanding data and information to drive changes and optimization efforts.

  • Developing strong partnership with Operations, Logistics, HSE, and Projects groups within Midstream.

  • Promoting a general interest mindset regarding the adoption and implementation of solutions.

  • Coordinating resources and suppliers to complete projects and work requests.

Position Requirements

Basic/Required:

  • Legally authorized to work in the job posting country

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 5 or more years of Oil and Gas experience

  • 3 or more years of experience in performance reporting and analytics

Preferred:

  • 10 or more years of experience establishing and driving strategic projects/ digital solutions

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Business

  • MBA degree

  • 2 or more years of experience in Information Technology discipline

  • Experience with Historian systems, cloud data solutions, analytics platforms and technologies

  • Proven ability to work well with business, and local and remote IT resources

  • Strong facilitation skills - ability to manage upwards and help secure understanding, ownership and commitment to activity timings, within key discipline leads

  • Strong performance reporting & analytics

  • Ability to create an environment of inclusiveness and foster communication

  • Active learner with good midstream business knowledge

  • Ability to manage and perform multiple tasks concurrently
