The Learning Experience Analyst position is responsible for planning, designing, developing, and implementing training materials. The position creates and maintains design and development guidelines, including high-level and detailed procedures, user interface templates, instructional and assessment strategies.
Responsibilities m ay Include
Researches and analyzes information and materials to determine content, target audience and learning objectives. Consults with customers to ascertain requirements; establishes goals and timelines for deliverables with customers and other stakeholders to ensure needs are fulfilled on a timely basis with a quality and measurable output.
Utilizes instructional design principles to create effective training materials, incorporating effective visual and interface design.
Creates templates, graphics, and multimedia files to support course objectives, including job aids, procedure guides and manuals. Maintains updates and enhances current online resources.
Works with customers, users, and other stakeholders to ensure successful implementation. Makes recommendations to support learning methodologies and approaches to ensure learning objectives are met.
Maintains technical knowledge of e-learning applications and best practices and compiles information into recommendations and analyses. Remains current with adult learning principles, distance learning software, instructional design methods and evaluation techniques.
Works with other team members to assess needs and ways to implement a blended learning environment.
Bachelor's degree or higher in business, education, instructional design, a technical field
3 or more years progressive work experience
2 or mor years of demonstrated technical knowledge and experience focused on e-learning development
Experience with design/development, e-learning design software, such as Articulate, Camtasia, Photoshop, etc.
Experience incorporating training content into learning management systems and web-based applications
Functional knowledge of adult learning and instructional design methodologies
Familiarity with graphic design principles and tools, and with video and audio editing tools
Able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently
Able to create project plans, including deliverables and schedules
Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective oral and excellent written communication skills
Effective interpersonal skills, a customer-service focus, and the ability to work as a member in a team-oriented environment
