The Project Management Team Lead is a permanent Integrated Project Management Office (iPMO) position whose objective is to mentor project managers, provide financial, execution performance and organization for the various projects and programs under the governance of the iPMO. The role’s primary responsibilities are to ensure each program or project performance is in accordance with the management office administration activities, along with taking on important governance support activities for projects under the auspices of the iPMO. In addition, this Team Lead will also serve as a key resource tasked with contributing to the development and delivery of innovative solutions in service to our IT commitment of continuous improvements and digital agility. In this role, the Project Management Team Lead will be both externally and internally facing working on a variety of tactical as well as strategic activities ranging from iPMO voting administration & monitoring to assisting with key governance activities as well as being an active participating team member on key iPMO project activities in support of Digital IT. Track alignment to program vision, manage implementation roadmap, program risk and provide progress visibility to the ITLT. Set strategic direction and priorities for execution of the program, provide input on interdependencies and issues impacting multiple projects (e.g., resource and funding allocation, go/no-go decisions).
The Project Management Team Lead must also be well versed in understanding standard project management concepts, including understanding both waterfall and Agile execution methodologies, comfortable utilizing standard project management tools like Microsoft Project Online, ADO, and Power BI for analysis, review, and reporting activities.
Oversite of the control metrics and financial for a program under the governance of the iPMO
Proactively identify risk and support mitigation efforts the assigned portfolio
Coach project and program managers on the iPMO process and procedures
Providing governance oversight and monitoring activities in support of various PMO processes
Conduct and/or facilitate training workshops in support of various PMO activities/processes
Have a flexible skill set to take on additional responsibilities that may not be completely defined or settled from an objective or scope standpoint
Display keen problem solving and leadership skills that can be leveraged and applied to new “asks?” that are requested to the PMO
Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or related field
5 years in previous project or program management roles (analyst, coordinator, scheduler, or PM)
Demonstrated experience using project management software tools such as MS Project and/or Azure DevOps
Previous experience developing detailed project schedules and completing project management deliverables
Familiar with Waterfall project management methodology, including PMI
Familiar with Agile project management methodology, including Scrum, SAFe, etc.
Knowledge of and comfortable leveraging SAP for t-code analysis purposes
Demonstrated leadership abilities, effective in matrix management and team building
10 years in previous project or program management roles (analyst, coordinator, scheduler, or PM)
Capable of self-directed, autonomous work practices.
Ability to identify gaps in program operations and develop strategic solutions
Works well with others in an integrated team environment
Self-motivated and a problem solver
