The Reliability Engineer is accountable for leading Midstream’s reliability improvement efforts in support of, and in collaboration with, the Maintenance and Reliability Superintendents by applying proven reliability methodology and tools with a fit for purpose approach.
Responsibilities May Include
Developing a set of metrics to measure reliability performance, setting targets, monitoring and communicating results, and collaborating with maintenance and operations to develop and execute fit for purpose action plans.
Collaborating with Logistics to identify and implement reliability improvement opportunities through the Control Center and Scheduling.
Managing the Midstream Machine Health Monitoring program as it’s transitioned from the AdvantEdge66 project to Operations
Working with maintenance, operations, engineering, and projects to ensure SAP equipment data is accurate and complete.
Owning, or providing input to, operations and maintenance policies, procedures, and technical bulletins to support improved reliability performance.
Facilitating, or participating in, incident investigations related to reliability events
Consulting with Project Development and project teams to ensure reliability and life cycle costs are considered when developing project scope.
Consulting with subject matter experts and Functional Excellence Teams (FETs) to ensure industry and Midstream requirements and best practices are integrated into reliability efforts.
Providing guidance to Regions in developing budget requests for reliability driven projects and to Operations Excellence Manager in prioritizing budget requests
Supporting Operations Engineers in troubleshooting efforts.
Networking with Reliability personnel in other P66 business units and industry organizations to identify best practices.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
5 or more years of experience in Midstream Operations or related industry
2 or more years of experience in field operations
Intermediate level of proficiency in key operational data systems (e.g. SAP and PI)
2 or more years of experience implementing initiatives including building consensus across an organization
Strong analytical skills and intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate across all levels of the organization
Willingness and ability to perform and comply with the following, with or without reasonable accommodations: To travel up to 25% of the time to field locations
10 or more years of experience in Midstream Operations or related industry
5 or more years of experience in field operations
Basic understanding of reliability concepts
