Phillips 66 Sr. Director, Brand Image & Support in Houston, Texas

The Sr. Director, Brand Image and Support is responsible for the consumer experience at each branded retail site, as they oversee brand standards integration, project management for site imaging, the implementation and ongoing execution of the retail Excellence in Action program, as well as ensure effective programs are in place to support the sales team functions. They will participate in the development of additional customer offerings to support changing business needs and marketplace competitive demands. The Sr. Director, Brand Image and Support will provide project management oversight, directing the work of the project managers and image specialists to assure imaging activities stay on schedule and on budget. They will be responsible for ensuring brand standards for materials and installations are upheld as well as oversee all debrand activities.
Responsibilities:
Provides supervision for project managers and image team
Leads the branding efforts assuring all projects are completed on time and within budget
Assures agreed upon imaging process is followed by all stakeholders
Provides feedback on performance of all stakeholders in imaging process; challenges team to continuously improve processes
Establishes process for image exceptions and assures exceptions are documented
Evaluate suppliers, recommend, and update approved list of vendors as necessary and ensure their compliance with contractual agreements
Monitors and assesses contractor performance
Drives enhanced consumer experience through EIA Mystery Shop execution oversight and enforcement
Oversees debrand activities and ensures audit assurance adhering to brand image standards
Supports the implementation and execution of all sales programs in conjunction with FP&A, PAA, and Sales
Required Qualifications:
Legally authorized to work in the United States on a regular, full-time basis with no restrictions
Bachelor’s degree
Experience – 10 years Fuel Marketing Experience (or equivalent)
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous supervisory experience
Project Management: Has project management experience including leading work where it was required to identify a critical path, perform multiple tasks and activities simultaneously, on time and on budget, giving strong attention to detail and accuracy
Marketing and Sales Acumen: Understands Marketing business and impact on sales results
Leadership: Ability to work independently and under time constraints; motivates team to work towards achieving establish organizational goals
Teamwork: Ability to work cross-functionally, understands sales process and customer needs
Influencing Others: At least one year of direct experience making recommendations to management, including conflict resolution and the ability to lead both internal/external resources to achieve goals
Communication Skills: experience in communicating effectively, both verbally and in writing, to ensure common understanding to multiple levels of the organization
Strong presentation skills
Systems: At least two years data analysis in Excel, experience with PC applications, MS office applications, and data management: able to gather and interpret data from separate systems
Negotiations skills: At least one year of direct experience and/or demonstration of how business decisions have been influenced through negotiations
