The Digital IT Business Solutions Marketing team is a group of technical and business analysts that support the P66 Marketing business. The team develops and supports software for a variety of business capabilities including credit card processing, mobile payment, product pricing, customer engagement and data analytics. Systems in the marketing landscape range from internally developed applications to SaaS solutions. Internal and vended products are hosted on both Azure and AWS cloud platforms.

The US Marketing Architect role will help lead technical and strategic direction for business critical systems. With ongoing programs and the drive to mature the Phillips66 digital footprint, there are abundant opportunities to lead new changes. The role will help research, define, and implement tools, strategies, and innovations in support of the digital transformation and long-term operational efficiencies. The role will have the opportunity to consult with numerous businesses, IT groups, and projects on the design and implementation of key IT solutions. The role will also have responsibility for the interface design, data management and governance of current and future IT solutions. Collaborating with others to facilitate common approaches and optimized architectural synergies and standardization across projects will be key for success. A key focus for this role is to enable business value by leveraging and exploiting IT systems or processes.

A strong sense of ownership and a drive to implement innovative solutions that drive business value. The ideal candidate has a passion for learning new things, ability to explain complex technologies in a simple manner to leadership audience, strong intellectual integrity, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities May Include:

  • Partner with product owners, business analysts, and operations teams to translate requirements into solution designs that best achieve the target capabilities.

  • Provide architectural oversight of Marketing projects including activities in credit card, mobile payments, pricing applications, DCX/Bizlink and data analytics.

  • Work with Enterprise Architecture and various Centers of Excellence on introduction of new technical tools.

  • Work with enterprise level projects like on integration and consumption of Marketing data.

  • Develop and maintain high level application diagrams across the marketing landscape

  • Design, develop, and articulate solutions based on a customer's strategic business and technical requirements.

  • Provide technical mentorship and feedback to other team members.

  • Lead the adoption of new cloud-based technologies in operations environment

  • Create and maintain architectural diagrams

Basic/Required Qualifications:

  • Legally authorized to work in the job posting country

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 12+ years of IT experience

  • Prior experience with execution of large enterprise-wide solutions

  • 2+ years AWS/Azure experience

  • 3+ years Salesforce experience

  • Ability to travel up to 15%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or relevant field of study

  • 5+ of experience architecting and integrating systems

  • 3+ years of experience in relevant Oil & Gas or technical industry experience, especially downstream

  • 5+ years of experience in ERP, mobile/web applications, cloud migrations, or data management

  • 5+ years of architectural experience developing enterprise level strategies and designs

  • Experience with Mendix, Tableau, PowerBI, or Microsoft Power Apps

  • Familiarity with modern development and architecture construct

  • Experience integrating with SAP

  • Exposure to Azure Synapse Analytics and Databricks

  • Experience with data warehousing and analytics strategies

  • Experience in building and designing systems on cloud platforms – AWS and/or Azure

  • Experience in application modernization and optimization in the cloud environments

  • General IT policy knowledge

  • Able to work in a team environment focused on achieving results

  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Strong written and oral communication

  • Able to present ideas and influence others
