What are we looking for?

Expert understanding of tanks including design requirements, removing from service, tank equipment including mobile equipment that may be used for de-inventorying and re-inventorying a storage tank.
The legal right to live and work in the UK on a permanent basis without restrictions.
A degree in a Chemical Engineering discipline.
Previous experience of tanks including tank design, ancillary equipment, tank outages and tank rebuilds, gained via employment in the oil sector.
Proficient knowledge of API standards for tanks; API620, API650, API653, API2000, API2015 as well as NFPA11.
Proficient knowledge and experience of MS applications.
Working knowledge of tank construction from concept to commissioning.
- Previous experience gained via employment in the oil and gas or petrochemical industry
The Humber Refinery is located on the east coast of England in North Lincolnshire, United Kingdom, approximately 180 miles north of London. Humber's facilities include crude distilling, naphtha reforming, fluid catalytic cracking, hydrodesulfurization, thermal cracking and delayed coking units. The refinery has two coking units with associated calcining plants, which produce high-value graphite and anode petroleum cokes. It processes crude oil supplied primarily from the North Sea and includes light, low- and medium-sulfur and acidic crude oil. Humber produces a high percentage of transportation fuels. It is the only coking refinery in the United Kingdom, and a major producer of specialty graphite cokes and anode coke. Approximately 70 percent of the light oils produced by the refinery are distributed to customers in the United Kingdom by pipeline, rail car and truck, while the other products are exported to the rest of Europe, West Africa and the United States.
