Under the general Supervision of the Assistant Plant Manager, the Associate loads and unloads lube oil, lube additives, grease and containers received and shipped by truck, operates filling equipment and packaging of lube oil., bulk loading/unloading and blending associated tasks. Safely follows Phillips 66 Company policy and practices while complying with pertinent Federal, State and local regulations, supporting the Phillips 66 Company Mission Statement and its commitment to quality and environmental policies.

Must effectively work and communicate with management, co-workers, Transportation and Production Schedulers, lab personnel, Coordinator of Inventory Control, HSE Coordinators, customers and common carrier drivers in a professional and courteous manner. Must show initiative in problem solving and adjust to varying work load situations. This position requires annual HazWoper Awareness Training and Certification. This position has a shift schedule of 6:30am – 3:00pm, Monday – Friday and starting pay rate of $25.96 per hour.

Responsibilities May Include

  • With proper supervision, training, and certification, while monitoring for quality control and in a safe and efficient manner assist in all facets of Lubricant operations including but not restricted to determining all package-order loading requirements for Phillips 66 Company customers, loading and unloading of bulk products both into and from the terminal, assisting in the operation of the filling equipment, assisting in the requirements of the blending department, receipt and inspection of packaging components, printing of product container labels, the cleanup and transfer of products, and participation in scheduled inventory and overtime requirements as warranted.

  • Efficiently organizes, prepares and accurately loads packaged oil, bulk oil and grease SKU’s onto trucks or rail for shipment to customers abiding by individual truck/rail weight and DOT regulations while completing proper paperwork and SAP related responsibilities.

  • Unloads packaged and bulk oils, greases and additives received from outside sources into designated inventory locations in accordance with proper FIFO guidelines.

  • Unloads and inspects empty packaging components from delivery trucks and positions into designated storage locations and enter receipts into SAP.

  • Assists in the rotation of all finished package goods and additives to ensure first-in / first-out (FIFO) and assists inventory quality control coordinator.

  • Operates industrial lift truck in a safe, efficient and professional manner according to Phillips 66 Company policies and procedures.

  • Responsible for following the standard operating procedures defined by the IATF 16949 Quality and the ISO14000-2015 Environmental management systems and for fulfilling required on-line web-based training.

  • Responsible for keeping work areas clean and overall facility neat and orderly.

  • Adhere to, support and actively contribute to the Phillips 66 Company VPP and SAFESTART programs.

  • Perform other responsibilities as coordinated by the Assistant Plant Manager and Senior Associate Blending.

  • Complete training courses assigned on time. Participates in daily and monthly safety meetings.

Position Requirements


  • Legally authorized to work in the job posting country

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent

  • Work experience related to oil and gas industry, shipping/receiving, warehousing, production lines, forklift operation, manufacturing


  • Willingness to learn and follow Phillips 66 Company policies and procedures

  • Product knowledge container sizes, weights, warehouse locations, package lube loading

  • Safe and legal loading requirements for package vans and the safe and efficient operation of lift trucks

  • The ability to maintain a Positive, Productive and Enthusiastic team work environment
