Basic Purpose/Accountabilities:
Reporting to the Operations Lead (Crude & Heavies), the Scheduler - Crude Oil position will be responsible for all aspects of scheduling crude oil operations in Asia and Middle East regions. This role will involve contributing to the business bottom-line by striving for operations excellence to ensure the business is a high performance work unit.
Primary Responsibilities:
Execute all waterborne movements and barge deliveries according to Sales and Purchase contracts.
Execute all waterborne movements and deliveries according to Sales and Purchase contracts.
Execute all loading month and date nominations according to suppliers’ general terms and conditions (GTCs)
Nominate vessels for acceptance, cargo and date range declaration to counterparties and terminals.
Responsible for scheduling & optimizations, keep a close monitor on vessel berthing program, BS&W, volumetric performance and resolve any significant discrepancies promptly.
Maintain accurate inventory records at all times.
Notify Marine Demurrage group for demurrages on vessels, if incurred. Daily updates of cargo volumes and B/L estimated date into SAP for P/L Validation Report.
Cargo actualization into SAP.
Timely nomination of inspector into Navarik system.
Adhere to Phillips 66 compliance policies such as DRM, Import/Export Custom declaration (if any)
Inform/Consult Operations Lead, Loss Control and Traders for any operational issues.
Cultivate and maintain good rapport with industry people and share market intelligence.
Basic Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher
Minimum qualification of a Degree/Diploma, preferably in Chemical and Maritime
Minimum 3 years of related industry experience
Knowledge of Middle East crude oil suppliers’ GTC (including ICE Futures Abu Dhabi (IFAD) or Dubai Mercantile Exchange Limited (DME) Operation Rules Book) and vessel nomination rules
Experience in scheduling waterborne crude/ heavy oil movements within Asia Pacific with terminals in Asia (Japan/China) and Middle East
Knowledge of supply logistics chain involving inspections/ cargo operations and procedures
Strong analytical and advanced computer spreadsheet skills
Collaborative team player with the ability to work constructively within a very close and often demanding teamwork environment
Strong interpersonal and networking skills with strong verbal and written communication skills
Results oriented with ability to think and act decisively and independently under situations and changes, often at all hours of the day and during weekends/holidays
